Practitioners and scientists in collaboration, have developed an online pilot tool to offer guidance and information for choosing the right binder and aggregate and follow best practice.
The tool is for anyone who works with, or wants to learn to work with lime mortar, specifically for repointing. It's designed to be used by building contractors, tradesmen, homeowners, practitioners and architects.
This tool was developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford, OxRBL group, and Cliveden Conservation and supported by the EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account.
